𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 ❓ Recently I've had a number of people reach out to me wanting to get into podcasting this year and I've been surprised by some of their ideas. They're thinking big. Which is awesome. Thinking like a TV show rather than just interviewing guests. Not that there's anything wrong with talking to guests around your specialist subject. To either;1. Build relationships with your ideal client (by asking them on your podcast) OR2. Building an audience in trusted long-form contentBut if you want to scale your podcast to attract audiences, then entertaining them is becoming just as important. Edu-tainment. ----Is this important to you as an audience? To engage with a video podcast and why?---This video is a trailer for a podcast/show I produced in 2019 when I teamed up with a wonderful video creator ul video cr . 💜 Featuring some well-known digital marketers digital marketers Glenn Marvin , Luke Ryan , Wanita Z. and Murdoch Razmi for our "talent".

🤔 How Can I Help You Fail?In a recent podcast interview, Roy Osing, author of Be Different or Be Dead, offered that failure is the source of innovation.Roy advocates for businesses to create a culture around ‘trying,’ where employees are encouraged and rewarded for trying new approaches to solving problems. Find ways to make failure an acceptable and expected part of the process.Roy explained that he routinely asks direct reports a series of questions intended to encourage innovation. He asks, “How many times did you fail this week?” and, “What were the results? What did you learn? How can I help?""That’s what leaders do," said Roy, "they ask, ‘How can I help you fail?’”👉 It's time to apply this philosophy to your marketing. If you’re not hitting your top-line revenue goals 📉, your marketing team needs to be innovating. Is your team trying new campaigns and new channels? Are they collecting data and learning from the results? Where do they need help?Put some time on my calendar, and let’s chat about how we can help your team innovate faster and grow your top-line revenue: https://lnkd.in/emYmZ6FGP.S. Are you motivated by other people's success or does it shake your confidence thinking you could never do what they do?Inspiration is the fire that lights a spark and gets us to move. Do you jump, follow, or just hang back?I took this topic on this week in my podcast as a way of seeing what people do with inspiration. Do they:• Take notes - jot down ideas that resonate with you• Reflect - weigh new and different perspectives• Follow - connect or follow the speaker, become a fan• Share - pass the inspiration on to someone who needs it• Take Action - someone else's story gives me the fuel I need• Cheer - I will applaud people and stay comfortably on the side@openforhigher @sandithespeakercoach @morecowbell

If you don't have one don't worry this is the yearPersonal brand is going to be one of the most powerful things any individual will have moving forward. No matter if you are looking for a new role, trying to close deals or move up in org. It is never to late to start and here is how you should for 20241. Know what you want to be known for and put focus there in your conversations, your external communications and social media. This doesn't mean that everything you talk about is that but know that there needs to be some so that people understand how you can help them.2. Remember this is not selling this is building and that means you can relax and learn about others while you do your best to help them and show your knowledge.3. Say yes! Do things you might not want to. Do that podcast you have avoided, write a post or comment no matter what the reaction, and talk to more great humans on calls. This may be the most important. If you don't swing, you will never get a hit! This is the one thing that you get to really own and take with you no matter where you go. This is valuable for you and anyone who hires you. It's even great if you are doing your own thing. Invest in you for 2024!

Out of the blue someone you helped years ago tells you how much you impacted them. How would you feel?Would you think it was annoying?Would you think “why tell me now”?Would you focus on their exact words? Probably not. You’d probably appreciate them. You’d feel seen for your effort. You’d be curious about them. We talk a lot about the massive value of a deep network. But building it doesn’t require *perfectly worded gestures* at the *right time*. It only needs you to tell 1 person:1. the impact they had 2. why it mattered to you3. how you use it in your CareerNo matter how big or small. Do that for 1 week and you’ll have the beginning of a network that sends you great fit opps and backs you when you need support. Sending you the curiosity to picture being the recipient of that msg, and then realizing you can create it today. Happy Tuesday, my friends ✌🏼 --------👋🏽 I’m Chad fmr GC, now Coach and TEDx Speaker📧 DM me to elevate your Career or Team🎧 Subscribe: What You’re About podcast

Is it that the person who knows they don't know everything is the smartest in the room? ......... I don't think so 💡 I think the smartest person in the room is the person who is actively LEARNING because they realize they don't know everythingThe Awareness is only step 1The ACTION is the essential Piece ⚡ There has to be a seeking of continuing learning, surrounding ourselves around others who can challenge us and cause us to grow & stretchIt's when we think we have it all figured out - we trip, we stall out, we get too comfortable and don't realize all the amazing things happening around us by people who have lots to share! I listened to two podcasts yesterday both by Exit Five , one on AI @john short and one on Bottom of Funnel Content @leshay lewis .... And lightening struck... I immediately saw a connection in them both and texted Brad Williams you've got to see this! Surround yourself with communities of brilliant people testing and experimenting and sharing ideas! 💡 And Marketers ... Go Check Out The Exit Five Podcast... it's 🔥

A big update I've been waiting for...here it goes...Last year John Roman and I started recording our conversations. Small clips, nothing major. An 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 and a brand 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 chatting. We wanted a podcast. We really wanted a podcast. But, we wanted a podcast done the right way, with the right people. A podcast that creates great value. We wanted different perspectives. Value perspectives. We came across a guy named Jimmy Kim. We loved Jimmy's shared belief around brands/customers, what he was sharing -- being brand first.John Roman reached out to Jimmy Kim...we chatted...and Jimmy was in. It just happened that we had our 𝗦𝗮𝗮𝗦 mind. But we still had a void. We wanted, we needed a 4th voice. Boom! Bryan MacDonald was the perfect fourth. He was a 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿.We started chatting -- from green bubble texts ruining group messages to Google Meet calls. Boom! Fireworks. What are we going to call it? A pod about business, life, experiences, wins, losses, learnings, and anything random in between. A call with an Operator, Agency, SaaS, and Marketer...We called it what we wanted to make the Podcast be.ASOM (pronounced - Awesome)A for AgencyS for SaaSO for OperatorM for MarketerWe flew to Atlanta and recorded our first episode.
